| The amazing part of staying here in our Windsor Hills home is that you will stay in a much more luxurious home with top of the line furniture, electronics, bedding, and your own private kitchen and pool, for a small fraction of the cost of staying on the Disney property at a traditional resort hotel room. Typical resort hotel rooms start at $250/night for a traditional old style hotel room, and for that price you get a room with 2 queen beds, 1 bathroom, and no kitchen, pool, internet, HDTVs, the list goes on and on! |

No expense has been spared to decorate in top of the line furniture (no pre-packaged cheap furniture packages here!), the best mattresses and bedding we could find, and top of the line TVs, electronics, free high speed internet, and more, all to offer you all of the comforts of home along with the most luxurious place you will find for rent anywhere in the Disney / Kissimmee Florida area! The open floor plan boasts 9 foot ceilings throughout the ground floor with a spacious great room opening to the private, screened-in lanai/pool area. Most of the home is painted in a pale / light yellow color called "Farmer's Almanac". We also upgraded the whole first floor and all 3 bathrooms to tile, as they were originally carpeted and linoleum tile in places, not bad, but we wanted better. We also installed "West Indies" style ceiling fans throughout, and added just about every convenience, appliance, and item we could think of, including kids items, video games, and more! The home also has its own washer/dryer upstairs, so our suggestion is to pack lighter than you normally would, we always seem to end up bringing too many clothes with us!
The great room also features a large 50" Phillips HD plasma TV Ambilight (this set is AWESOME!) with digital HD cable subscription, a 5.1 surround stereo with DVD, and high speed wireless internet (bring your laptop!). The back of this room is 3 picture window type sliding doors that open onto the private lanai / pool.
The modern kitchen is fully outfitted with everything you need for family meals at home - even the dishes and silverware! Coffee maker, tea kettle, stove / microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, in a fully stocked kitchen are all included, even a blender for making margaritas by the pool!
here are 3 bedrooms, each with its own private full bathroom, 2 upstairs 1 downstairs.
The upstairs master suite features a king-sized bed with a top of the line Serta pillow top mattress with 500 thread count linens. It also contains a flat screen HDTV, a 32" Sharp Aquos HDTV LCD flat panel TV (with HD channels!)! All upstairs rooms have vaulted ceilings, and newly installed "west indies" style ceiling fans / lights. At several guests' suggestions, we are installing a hotel travel safe for your important / valuable travel documents or items like a laptop, we do listen to and highly value guest feedback and use it to try and continually improve our home!
Across the hall is a kid-themed suite with 2 Twin beds, TV and video games for the kids, and its own bathroom. The 2nd upstairs bedroom features 2 twin wrought-iron beds, and a 20" TV/DVD combination TV with video games (Nintendo Gamecube + 10 games!). This room has been newly painted in a light celery green color along with its private bathroom. Oh, by the way, this room also has top of the line Serta pillow top mattresses and thread count linens, we didn't cut corners anywhere! There are LED nightlights throughout the home as well. In the upstairs hallway is a washer, dryer, iron, ironing board, we also just upgraded the home's thermostat to a high end Invensys system (much easier to operate than the stock one).
The pool gets plenty of Florida sun, but optional heat is available in the cooler months. Pool toys are provided for your enjoyment, and the pool area is protected by a child fence plus locks.
Once the kids are asleep in their own bedrooms, there's nothing like a swim in your own private pool to end a perfect Disney day, or relax with a margarita in the sun |
